Sifu Neil Skinner
(1978- )

Sifu Neil began his training in Shaolin-Tao as a teenager with Senior Master Grooms at the Norcross School in 1995. Although much has changed since then, his love for the art and his passion for teaching remain a constant in his life.

Since 2005, the Intown School has been Sifu Neil’s home, where he has advanced to the dual ranks of 3rd black belt in Kung Fu and 2nd black sash in the Internal Program. The Intown community also witnessed his teaching progression from assistant to Certified Instructor to Sifu status and his roles today – Director of the Youth Program and Chief Instructor of the Kung Fu Program.

Sifu Neil is widely respected for his teaching ability. As Director of the Youth Program, he brings heart and spirit to each class, giving the kids a great role model, as well as providing them with an opportunity to learn discipline and respect in a fun environment. For those in the Kung Fu Program, Sifu Neil incorporates a good balance between technique and hard work into his instruction style. Clean and precise techniques are the cornerstone of his fighting skills and continuously strengthening the body’s core abilities is at the heart of his training philosophy. Sifu Neil truly enjoys passing along his dedication and appreciation of the strength and art of Shaolin.
